Wrocky
Wrocky, our pinto oldenberg gelding was born on our farm in May of 2003. His sire is Wradar, a 16′2″ liver chestnut stallion by Welstern, approved Oldenburg ISR/NA and Oldenburg Verband. Wradar was ranked FIRST in the 2002 USDF All breeds awards among Oldenburgs at both Prix St. George, and Intermediaire I dressage. His dam is our dark bay tobiona paint mare, Classmate. Classmate was shown successfully by our children on the APHA circuit before becoming a broodmare. She has produced several successful dressage and combined training offspring, and her foals always have her wonderful, friendly disposition, along with good movement and suspension.
Wrocky was bred to be my dressage horse and during the first 3 years of his under saddle training we focused on dressage. He has schooled to second level and was shown lightly at training level in dressage. Recently we discovered that Wrocky loves to jump and seems much happier schooling hunter and event courses rather than schooling dressage moves, so I have decided to sell him to an approved home as a hunter/jumper or event mount. Wrocky is a lap dog, loves people and attention, whinnies as people drive up our drive way, and waits at the fence in hopes of receiving a pet or scratch. He is also a quick learner and has a very willing disposition. On top of that he is also an awesome mover with lots of suspension, a big stride, and good conformation over fences. He is naturally cadenced around a hunter course and can figure out his correct leads easily. He is curious and bold enough to handle natural obstacles for eventing. He is slightly over 16′ and may grow to 16′1″. He will be a super competition mount for an amatuer or intermediate youth rider wanting a versatile english sport horse.
His price is $20,000 to an approved home.
