Wrocky

Wrocky is a 16′, 2003 pinto oldenburg gelding. He is a super mover for the hunter ring, and has the athleticism combined with a great temperment to also be very competitive as a dressage or eventing mount. He loves people and attention and trainers who work with him give him a 10 for his wonderful temperament. He has a big stride and suspension, and good form over fences. He is naturally cadenced around a hunter course and easily figures his distances. He is curious and bold enough to handle natural obstacles for eventing.

Wrocky’s sire is Wradar, a 16′2″ liver chestnut stallion by Welstern, approved Oldenburg ISR/NA and Oldenburg Verband. Wradar was ranked FIRST in the 2002 USDF All breeds awards among Oldenburgs at both Prix St. George, and Intermediaire I dressage. His dam is our dark bay tobiona paint mare, Classmate. Classmate was shown successfully by our children on the APHA circuit before becoming a broodmare. She has produced several successful dressage, hunter/jumper and combined training offspring, and her foals always have her wonderful, friendly disposition, along with good movement and suspension. Wrocky’s first 4 years under saddle were focused on dressage. He has schooled through first level dressage and has mastered some of the second level movements. He has shown successfully in dressage, winning at training level and placing 3rd out of a class of 7 the first time he was shown at first level. As a 6 year old we discovered that Wrocky loves to jump and since that time he has been schooled as a hunter/jumper, with an occasional dressage clinic added to keep him balanced in both disciplines. At his first hunter/jumper show, he won his hack class out of 15 entries! Wrocky is priced at $15,000, negotiable to an approved home.
