Welcome to the new Walk’s Riverside Farm web page. We strive to breed athletic sport horses with excellent temperaments, suitable for youth and amateur riders as dressage, hunter/jumper, combined training, reining, ranch, and cutting mounts. Our breeding program focuses on using AQHA and APHA mares that have quiet minds, and that have the movement and athletic ability necessary to excel in the sport horse disciplines. We have chosen quarter horse and warmblood stallions for our mares that have successful performance records in dressage, hunter/jumper, reining, reined cowhorse, and ranch horse competitions, plus having quiet temperaments and high ridability. Breeding sport horses that are easy to handle and ride is our #1 priority, and, using a combination of hunter/jumper and reining bloodlines we have produced successful sport horses for our own enjoyment and for the clients who have purchased horses from us.
